Dated 8th October 2012 the Department for Transport have today issued a notice of the closure of the public footpath at the bottom of Dennett Close Road which links Ferrers Walk on the east side with Dennett Close itself. At present the site is also occupied by garages, however, the 2009 master plan indicates that these garages are to be demolished to make way for a three bedroom house at some stage. I therefore anticipate that the new developer Keepmoat Homes Ltd intend to build a new house in this location in 2013.
The closing date for objections for this footpath closure is 3rd November 2012.
