Flewitt Gardens: Private Houses

This block of four private houses was located above Farholm Court with the back doors, and gardens facing Rocket Park. They were demolished in 2009 and the site cleared after the residents accepted suitable compensation. The occupants did not want to move because they liked the Stonebridge Park estate and their friendly neighbours. During the consultation process they expressed the opinion that the price they were being offered for their properties did not reflect true the value of the large gardens and houses.  This set of photographs show the site in 2008 and today.
