Dave Bartrum - 'The Cockle man' - has been part of Nottingham's night life for more than 52 years. He sells seafood in city centre pubs and bars, and he is recognised world wide by tourists who remember him from past visits to the city.
Dave has been described as 'Legendary,' and an 'Icon' of the city of Nottingham, and recently pub landlords & regulars set up a campaign to give Dave Bartrum - 'The Cockle man' Freedom of the City.
Dave is now in need of sponsors to help support him transport wise, and with publicity as he promotes the last remaining pubs that allow him in to meet tourists and sell seafood.
